My discount increased for a few days, and I had extra holiday pay, so I indulged myself a little:

* Valour and Vanity by Mary Robinette Kowal
(I bought this once before at a lesser discount and then returned it because I heard the same day about my loss of hours at work)

* The Swedish Cavalier by Leo Perutz (had an odd cover and the title drew my attention; the back cover description sounded interesting; checked the list of other titles by the author and I already own one -- unread -- The Marquis of Bolibar)

I got the French edition of A Barrier to the Pacific by Marguerite Duras.

Four more ARCs:

* How To Lose a Lord in 10 Days of Less by Elizabeth Michels (7/14; historical romance)
* The Longest Night by Kara Braden (7/14; this is contemporary romance, but it got starred reviews from Booklist and PW, and it's a debut I believe, and it has an unusual premise)
* Mischief by Moonlight by Emily Greenwood (6/14; historical romance)
* Station Eleven by Emily St. John Mandel (SOS 9/9/14; sounds odd and dystopian, but the cover had "BEA Buzz" on it and I know I've heard of her before)

Brought home an ARC: Heroes Are My Weakness by Susan Elizabeth Phillips (SOS 8/26/14).

Have an additional shift next week, but still had buyer's remorse today immediately after purchasing Four Graces by D.E. Stevenson. :-/ Since reading Miss Buncle's Book, I've bought every Stevenson that Sourcebooks has reissued.

* Highlander's Bride Trouble by Mary Wine (ditto)
* The Drop by Dennis Lehane (8/14; mystery, will probably be handed on)
