Can't believe it's February already!

Today I received Spooky Little Girl by Laurie Notaro via Goodreads.

Lucky you! I've enjoyed some of her other books.

I should stop reading this thread! Jeaslousy always ensues when I do.

Oh you lucky thing DevourerofBooks! The Catherine de Medici book is #1 on my list of most highly anticipated books this year!

Anne Lamott's Imperfect Birds showed up on my doorstep today.

I've loved Lamott ever since we read Bird by Bird in my freshman writing course back in 2000. Super-excited about this one!

Darn... I haven't gotten an ARC in a very long time. Not that I haven't been requesting my share of them, but I've just not been that lucky lately.

#12 Wow! How do you get so many ARCs? I'd like your secret:)

>13 lilmanmom:,
Partly Shelf Awareness (there's where Heresy and Beatrice and Virgil came from, sadly Random House only sends me books from Shelf Awareness and LTER), and partly just because I've been a book blogger for 2 years now (as of this coming Monday!) so I've built relationships with publicists.

The Executor by Jesse Kellerman came today from Penguin via SA.

This is a good moth for ARCs-I wish I had more time to read!

Received Nobody's Angel by Jack Clark from Hard Case Crime. Editor Charles Ardai seems unusually excited about this book, so I'll be knocking it out soon.
