It's that time of year again: this year's Booker Prize longlist is coming up, with the announcement taking place on Tuesday, 27 July. Are there any books that you think or expect to see amongst the Booker Dozen?

The Mookse & the Gripes group on Goodreads has created a list of eligible books, which is ranked by the number of members who chose each book. In order, the top 15 books on the list are:

Klara and the Sun by Kazuo Ishiguro
Transcendent Kingdom by Yaa Gyasi
The Living Sea of Waking Dreams by Richard Flanagan
Second Place by Rachel Cusk
The Yield by Tara June Winch
Assembly by Natasha Brown
The Committed by Viet Thanh Nguyen
Popisho by Leone Ross
Lean Fall Stand by Jon McGregor
No One Is Talking About This by Patricia Lockwood
Unsettled Ground by Claire Fuller
Open Water by Caleb Azumah Nelson
Panenka by Ronan Hession
The Promise by Damon Galgut
How Beautiful We Were by Imbolo Mbue

I haven't read any of these novels, although I own Transcendent Kingdom. If you have I would love to know what your thoughts are about them.

I loved Klara and the Sun. Transcendent Kingdom and The Committed are on my wishlist
