I collect literature, with a focus on British literature, as well as theology, church history, spirituality, handcrafting and some contemporary authors. As a member of and scholar within the Church of the Brethren tradition, many of my books are connected to the Brethren/Anabaptist/Pietist Traditions.

I read broadly, but try to use the local and college libraries extensively. My personal collection development policy is I only buy something if:
1)I want to write in it.
2)I think I may want to re-read or reference it in the future.
3)Think I may want to lend it to a friend or family member.

I use LibraryThing to catalog the books I own, but use Shelfari to track my reading
