A splendid compendium of "all things mother." This is a clever selection of facts about mothers. Lots of history, vivid portraits (words and pictures) and anecdotes. Oddly the saddest bit concerns Anna Jarvis, founder of Mother's Day. Excellent bedside reading.

A dishy look at Liz's life in the gossip column world. Nothing groundbreaking or new, but still a fun read.
