I was surprised (and a little disappointed) that it's a hardcover.

Mai 8, 2009, 5:32 pm

#21: Why are you disappointed by it being hardcover? Those are the nicer, more expensive editions!

23bookcrushblog
Mai 8, 2009, 6:13 pm

#22 - I for one prefer paperbacks because they are much easier to cart around, and I do a lot of reading on the bus.

I also have marathon reading sessions and my arms can tire from holding hardcovers for hours. Maybe this just means I should work on my upper arm strength, but for now I'll continue to use the much lighter paperbacks.

#22:
I like the feel of paperbacks. I like the size - not for carrying around so much as the way they fit and look on my shelves. I like the way the corners get round and soft as they are loved and handled. It's a tactile thing for me.

Do you think I should be worried that my Angel's Game hasn't been received yet? It seems like alot of others have received already. Do they ever send them out at different times to different people? I live on the East Coast so it shouldn't be a geography thing?
