Found: Time travel, portal, love story, vikings

Read this book over 15 years ago, it's about a girl who lives an ordinary life in modern day. Then somehow she goes through this portal, and she time travels/goes into another universe? The world is like viking era (or similar, that time period) and she gets picked up by these locals who take her back to this castle. She has to adjust to life in this medieval world. Falls in love with the clan lord's son or something.

Anyway, the son gets injured so she decides to find a way a back so he can have access to modern medicine. They take him through the portal an dget him int aa hospital etc etc but the world is like bright and confusing. They end having to decide which world they want to live in and they both go back to their respective worlds. If anyone could help with this it would be MUCH appreciated!!

I think the main characters name was Andie or Andrea?
