A propos de ma bibliothèque
Situated in the first floor Park View Room, this small library is focused on providing books relevant to the Rigpa tradition and the courses curently being run at the centre. While focussing on the main teachers within our Nyingma lineage, it also includes books that cover other Tibetan schools of thought, texts and doctrines and as well as other traditions. The aim is to provide books that will interest, support and inspire all practitioners!
A propos de moi
" Wisdom shining, always unobscured "

Rigpa Sydney is based in a delightfully renovated 19th century church in an inner city suburb known as "Temple on the Park". This heritage building is now the national centre for Rigpa in Australia. Rigpa Sydney runs a programme of meditation, compassion and Buddhist philosophy classes and group practices, which are currently offered both in person and online. The Park View Room has a peaceful outlook over the expanse of the Camperdown Memorial Rest Park and is perfect for small group practice. Downstairs our main hall is used for major events and available for community hire.

Rigpa Sydney is part of an international network of centres, offering the Buddha’s teachings in a way that is relevant and beneficial for people in our modern world. Founded by Sogyal Rinpoche and based on an authentic tradition handed down through many generations of Tibetan masters, we offer a complete path of study and practice covering every stage of the Buddha’s teachings. In Australia, Rigpa Fellowship was formed around 1985.

Rigpa follows the Nyingma School of Tibetan Buddhism, in particular the lineage of the Longchen Nyingtik. We maintain the spirit of non-sectarian open-mindedness of the Rimé tradition by inviting teachers from all Buddhist schools and lineages to our centre. By offering our centre for use by other groups, we maintain a dialogue with other fields of human enquiry, artistry and spiritual development.
