Our library is our pride and joy! Many of our books have been donated by members. Members also regularly donate money so we can purchase new and rare titles. All profits from the sale of books in our centre bookshop go directly into purchasing more titles for our library! In this way "Dharma" money is used only for Dharma, and never for bills. We thank everyone who has contributed to this amazing resource.

A propos de moi

We are a teaching and meditation centre in the Tibetan Buddhist tradition. We provide a friendly and supportive environment for learning and putting into practice the teachings of the Buddha.

Langri Tangpa Centre was founded in 1982, and is affiliated with the Foundation for the Preservation of the Mahayana Tradition (FPMT). Our principal teachers are HH the Dalai Lama, Lama Yeshe and Lama Zopa Rinpoche.

We offer classes in meditation, yoga, dealing with destructive emotions, introduction to Buddhism, and regular teachings with touring Tibetan Lamas. Our centre is open to everyone with an interest in making their life happy and meaningful. There is no need to be a Buddhist to benefit from the courses on offer, and we encourage questioning and open dialogue.
