The Draegan Lords par M. L. Rhodes
The Draegans are dragon/human shifters that have been hunted to near extinction by the high sorcerer of Velensperian. After over a centuryof repression, a band of draegans are ready to fight back under the leadership of Kieran Hareldsen, the hidden true heir to the throne. Gaige Rizik,a killer spy and son of thr high sorcerer, is dispatched to find the rebel camp and uncover the draegans and find just who their leader is. Gaige is captured and soon sees that the draegans are a peaceful lot. He switches sides but never expects to fall in love with Kieren. This book contains the first two parts of the Draegan series. Unfortunately M.L. Rhodes seems to have lost interest in the series and left a great series unfinished.… (plus d'informations)
If I could give 2.5 I would. This one fell short for me. I could not connect with either of the main characters so I found myself drifting. The premise is good. I put it down several times thinking perhaps I just needed a fresh set of eyes but this didn't seem to help. I am hoping it was just this work. I look forward to trying another work from this author in the hopes it was a one time occurrence.
