This story was just okay for me. I was expecting more from it. I loved the blurb and thought it would be much more than it was. The love story was of interest to me but I did not like nor connect with Rachel or Carlo. Rachel's insecurities, for me, were overdone and grated on my nerves. I have never known any female to obsess so much over her weight and whether or not the guy she was dating wanted a blow job. In my adult life the second thing was one thing I was certain of. The murders were pretty much glossed over. No one really seemed to care that there was a murder except for the lone detective investigating. I am giving it 3 stars because parts of it were entertaining. I believe with a bit of rewriting and a good editor the author could make this into a good summer read.

This book was pretty darn awesome. I liked the story. Kristina was a hoot and I love the other characters. The problem that I had with the book was the serious lack of editing and the fact there was no mystery in figuring out the killer. It was a neat book, I liked it, I just had a hard time loving it!

I received this book from a librarything.com giveaway.

I thought this was quite an interesting book. A genre I have not read a lot of books in.

The main character of the book completes a 360 in her life and comes to terms with her past and present life.

I was a little overwhelmed with all the technicalities of how she had to learn the four steps to finding her true love and turning her life around.

Overall, it kept me interested and was a quick read.
