I received this book from a librarything.com giveaway.

I thought this was quite an interesting book. A genre I have not read a lot of books in.

The main character of the book completes a 360 in her life and comes to terms with her past and present life.

I was a little overwhelmed with all the technicalities of how she had to learn the four steps to finding her true love and turning her life around.

Overall, it kept me interested and was a quick read. ( )

Through her husband – a total sleazebag – Jacquelyn Parker becomes a slut. She has pictures of herself floating all over town. Yes, she posed for them but wasn’t herself when she did. Vincent was a user of the worst type. He didn’t care who he hurt as long as he could hurt. Somehow, he always talked his way out of trouble with the law, even though Jacquelyn had a restraining order.
Jacquelyn was a highly paid executive until he made his final scene in her office and she was let go. No income, no safe place for her. She retreats often into a dream where a man is always kind, gives good advice and promises her things will work out. Well, they sure aren’t right now! There is an “alternate girl” in Jacquelyn’s head called Jack. Jack is the slut, the bar girl, the combatant. She knows what she wants and goes after it. In other words, she’s everything her counterpart is not.
After a bad scene in a bar, Jack takes off hitching to where she was always happy – the Blue Ridge Mountains. She gets picked up by two fellows in a truck who get her where she’s going but want something for their efforts. Just as she jumps out of the truck, a man shows up to rescue her but they don’t meet as she runs.
Many thoughts obviously went into this book. There are themes of religion, hatred and some really good advice if you’re willing to think about it a little. It was not one of my favorite reads but then, again, that’s just me. You’ll probably love it! ( )

WOW! What an interesting story The Journey To Whitestone, A Parnormal Romance (The Dream Master Series--Book One) by Johnny Ray turned out to be. I got lost in this wonderful story of Jacqueline and the ups and downs that she faced on her search for true love. I could almost see the beautiful colors of the sunrises and sunsets that she witnessed at the top of the Smokeys. So enjoyed learning along with her as she met and learned from her different teachers along the way. Several colorful characters to love and dislike that are all a part of Jacqueline's journey.
