The Golden Age of Comedy par Robert Youngson
I think this was the first of Youngson's compilations of silent comedians, with added narration. It introduced a new generation to some brilliant talents. These films are still pretty fun to watch today, and I also like seeing the on-location scenes of 1920 (and before in some cases) California. It would have been adventure to live there in what were still pioneer days in many ways.

It has the plot of a bad sitcom, half the jokes aren't funny, and even some of the slapstick happens off camera. But its short enough for Laurel & Hardy's charisma to carry it.
