Sky Maps and other resources

Beautiful use of spot color (navy, turquoise, white, and gold) shows each constellation's position in the sky, with the stars in white and the picture in turquoise and gold. Each constellation has information about where it's located, how to find it, stories and myths associated with it, and the brightest star in it.

A few "star stories" make for an excellent bedtime for little ones.

This book is about a group of friends sewing hearts and patches together to fix their friends broken heart. This book is perfect for teaching kids about how they can help make someone feel better when they're sad. Ages: 3-5. Source: Pierce County Library System
