I hesitated over how many stars to give thus one. Most of the stories weren't very good, and the title just gives me the giggles. There were a couple of good ones though and it was supporting a good cause...so it got an extra star for that.
A Promise Broken is a love ballad that is waiting to be felt. Two people dancing their way through life, working with the cards they've been dealt. The heart delivers a mating call that entices emotions to take flight. However, the obstacles standing in their way prove an exhausting and daunting fight. There is beauty in reality and Ms. Garcia does a splendid job of relaying that message to the world.
This is my first book from Anissa Garcia, and it won't be my last! I loved that we got to got flashbacks to different parts of both of there lifes, to see what makes them as they are now. It made me understand each of them more. The characters are richly developed and you really get a sense of being in the story versus reading a story. I love these characters, and I can't wait to see what Anissa has for us next! This story is told in alternating views.

The banter is quick and funny.
