Is Henry really mad? It was all I could ask myself as I kept turning the pages wondering if the answer would ever be known! A fantastic blend of history and historical figures, The Dead Claim Their Own kept me guessing right until the the last chapter! The setting of the old manor was detailed I could nearly see every stone, piece of ivy, and the intended creep factor. Sure to be a classic among ghost novels for years to come.

In fact, the genealogy and countless reinventions of the “creature” are so cleanly interwoven with historical events, you almost forget that what you’re reading is fictitious.
