Fire Soldier by J.A. Culican: Allow a day for this PG15 example of what can happen when domestic squabbles get WAY out of hand. 5*

WHICH WAY THE CAST JUMPS by Ava Silvers: Allow a full day for this NC17 paranormal involving grief, both fresh and old. 4*

Emissary by A.L. Morrow: Allow a day for this steamy MM celestial romance which travels all over the place. 4 1/2*

FIGHT FOR DARKNESS by Susan Stradiotto and Sophia-Rose Johnson: Allow two days for this mature adult cage-fighting paranormal supernatural fantasy phasing between Wickney, Wisconsin, and Penumbra. Trigger warnings for graphic violence and sexual abuse of a minor. 4*

Inheritance by Skye Callahan: Allow a long afternoon for this PG15 supernatural rescue romance involving experimentation on a child. 5*

Shadow and Soul by A. R. Colbert: Allow an afternoon for this PG13 paranormal romance quest for the missing ingredient. 5*

BENEATH THE WAVES OF NEVERSEA by K.A. Last: Allow a day for this strange fantasy adventure when Wendeline, Jonathan, and Michael follow Peter Pan to Neverland. Ronan Hatter is sent there by his mother, the Queen of Hearts, and this is what happens. 5*

Inferno Games by Elise Knight: Allow a solid two days (or three) for this adult paranormal supernatural visit to Hell where Quinn Amelia Valentine, 28, is seeking her kid sister Jenny Alicia Valentine. 4 1/2*.… (plus d'informations)

This was a most entertaining and original book. Vanessa has left an abusive relationship and ends up on Saedo. The soldiers rescued her and her sisters. Arkon, the soldier who rescued her, has been hurt in the past also. They both have to work through issues which are many and unique as this is an alien planet. I absolutely loved the detail. The description of the flowers and plants for mating; Grandma 's soup; Vanessa's cooking and the relationships with her sisters and their spouses just kept you engaged through the whole story. It was fascinating with the detail. I found myself picturing the story. The characters felt like they could be from Earth. They could be neighbors. The plot ran pretty smooth. Oh my goodness, this book has just been added to my favorites of the year (and it's only February). If this is any indicator, it's going to be a fun year. Dea and Cathy's story was a challenge from the start. He's here hunting bad evil and gets a wee bit distracted by her. She's getting over a bad romance and grieving her mom's death. With moon vibrations and Tika, Dea's best friend, they might get through this. Rask tries to throw a few twists but these two have chemistry and a pull two each other. The plot is fantastic. You feel it all in the writing. And the descriptions....if only Dea could have popped out my Kindle. I loved every minute of it. Not a dull part to the story. The characters are very bit as relatable as the person standing next to you. I can't wait to read book 2. Get out there and read this one. Guarantee you'll have a good time and smile. Theo and Tia are two of the most well-written characters I have come across in a bit. Tia has escaped from an abusive relationship and has walls up around her. You feel them as you are reading. You feel the emotions she is experiencing. Theo is in law enforcement recovering from an injury. Their paths cross and he feels she's hiding something. He's attracted but wants to help her. The chemistry is off the charts! I love how its set with an alternative medicine touch. Her ex is downright creepy and dangerous. The tension is real; the characters are relatable. Toss a little spice in there and you have a terrific story. I'd give it more than a 5 if I could. Highly recommend.… (plus d'informations)
