I will say, this is the first romance novel that I have read. That being said, I believe I will steer clear of the genre from now on. I really enjoyed the first half of the book but it fell flat towards the end for me. Cooper is certainly a great character that I believe many can relate to and his anxiety seemed very real.
The relationship progression was great at first but I did not like the turn it made in the middle. Cooper had his heart broken over and over and in the end he forgave every wrong so easily. I'm not sure if this is normal for this genre but I don't think I will continue reading any more romance novels.… (plus d'informations)

This was an enjoyable read with a quirky twist. Loved the best friends dad trope and Anyta has written this so wonderfully.

I adore that they basically already live together and that Lake is so clueless!

Both economics student Theo and his course tutor Jamie Cooper are totally fresh characters. Theo lives his life on the wave of his sense of humour. He's a scream most of the time, though sometimes a bit silly.

Jamie is a perfect foil, and therefore also comes across as nerdy, madcap, heart of gold and silly, as the wannabe boyfriend of Theo.

The plot device is that Theo has no idea that he is gay - he's pining for his girlfriend who has dumped him. It's one of those optimistic heart warming stories where love is love, doesn't matter what the genders are. The B in LGBTQ.

I can't mention this book without referring to the narrator Rudy Sanda. Wow does he have fun with this. He takes it right over the top! It's too much but if you go with it, you open yourself to the full force of this book's charm.

I don't recall that I've heard his voice before - unless he exaggerates his voice so much here that I don't recognise it. He has narrated 114 books on Audible - incredible! And a lot of them are free with Audible Plus, including Leo Loves Aries. I've never utilised Audible Plus; I really have been missing out! (I've been a member of Audible since the 1990s, but I'm guessing Audible Plus has only been a perk for the past few years?)
