Around 1920 Hoffmann wrote a vampire story entitled "Vampirismus - Gräßliche Geschichte". It is one of the first vampire stories written and I wonder if you have read it.If you do please share your opinion about it with us.

Hmmm . . . I enjoy Hoffmann but I have not read the story you mention. Alas, there has been no recent translation of his complete works. I shall go consult my old friend TomCatMurr to see if he knows of said tale.

I liked the images, but I found it rather lacking it logic. What is the relation between the baroness and the son of the executioner? What does that relation have to do with the happenings at the cemitery?
