I had two cups of my perked Colombian this morning--one upon awakening and the other in the travel mug en route to work. Right now, it's Hokan green tea.

I'll need a good stiff drink later as I cannot find my copy of the book and will have to continue the search. I joined the read as I hoped to reduce the TBR tower by one---grrrrrrr.

I'm finishing my 3rd mug of coffee (about 1 1/2 c. each) this morning--Hubby had to leave early for work so I got an extra one! We drink Cafe Britt ordered by the case from Costa Rica--whole beans so it stays fresh a long time. I will drink tea in the afternoon if this rainy dreary day continues--I'm supposed to limit my coffee intake!

I'm drinking a freshly ground batch (on my 3rd mug) of Trader Joe's house blend...it's very close to the Cafe Britt Carolyn mentioned. I too often switch to herb tea for a quick change of pace in the afternoon, and finish with TJ's bedtime tea, or a cup of Hershey's Goodnite Hugs or Kisses hot chocolate (it's caffeine free). I'm never without a cup of hot something or other at my elbow (old habit from my days in the Navy).

Started today with two cups of coffee at work. Just plain coffee from a not-that-good-anymore coffee machine. The rest of the day mainly water.
Now I'm at home, after dinner, it will be tea. Don't know which yet, I've a lot to choose from....

Unduly influenced by Liss's marvellous mouth watering descriptions of coffee, I had the urge to try a cup this morning. I usually drink Rooibos (Redbush) Tea, my favourite. But having been seduced from my usual enjoyment I had a foul-tasting concoction called coffee from the company vending machine. Yeuk! Back to the Rooibos for me. Ok maybe this is not a fair comparison. But I still prefer to my lovely Rooibos Tea!

Our school has a two-hour delay this morning (woo-hoo!), so I am slowly savoring a cup of half-decaf Breakfast Blend instead of chugging it down as I stand in the hallway monitoring the students as they arrive. Aaaahhhhh...........

Today I am drinking green mountain coffee because I am snowed in at my folks' home in NH. I normally live in Virginia and unfortunately my copy of the Coffee trader is waiting at home for me... I think I'm going to be way behind in my first attempt to join a LibraryThing book club. At least I have some coffee to keep me warm!

I certainly didn't have enough coffee to day, as I'm too sleepy for it being only 9 in the evening... But now it's tea time, if I drink coffee now, I won't sleep easily...

Drinking 'Turkish' tea, better be called tea flavoured with apple, fig and date. I know it might sound yukky, but it's good.

During week days I normally drink the standard coffee and tea in tea bags. In the weekend some more special coffee (special mixes from Simon Levelt, the best known fresh coffee and tea shop in the Netherlands) and fresh tea.

I've had my two cups of fresh-ground French Roast (extra bold!) and will switch to herbal (usually mint) tea in the afternoon, since the caffeine affects my sleep these days.

I also enjoy darjeeling and hoji-cha smoked green tea.

Mmmm....I like darjeeling and various green teas too. Yum!

I've been a tea drinker most of my life, and about two-three years ago, my husband "declared" that I need to start drinking coffee. Why you ask?

Because he couldn't finish a pot of coffee himself in the morning! Groan...

So, through trial and error I've discovered I *only* like flavored coffees with plenty of milk and sugar aka "mocha style". He has to suffer for me to drink coffee.

This morning was a fresh-ground blend of Organic Pacific Blend and Organic Mocha Java. We grind beans and blend our own coffee every morning.

I drink tea mostly. In the evening I'll drink Caro or decaf tea with flavourings. I try to avoid caffeine after 5pm.

Every morning I quaff a flat white at around 11am (Lavazza coffee, Saeco coffee machine).

I started drinking coffee about 6 months ago after my daughter started drinking coffee. I usually drink Gevalia coffee in the morning. Evening coffee means I am up all night, so I try to avoid that. :)

Guess I will finish this evening with a cup of hot chocolate with rum! It's freezing here for almost two weeks now and that was a long time ago. So we Dutch went crazy and all gathered on the ice. So now it's time for hot chocolate!

I finally picked up my copy of the book today, and am drinking Starbuck's Annivery Blend (the coffee they brewed for the day). I better drink lots of coffee as I have lots of catch up to do.

Since I'm getting over a cold, I started the day with Blackberry tea and am now drinking a concoction of Udo's Oil, orange juice and powdered vitamin C which helps me get rid of just about anything. Ach-oo!

Hope you feel better soon so you can drink something without oil or powdered...anything:)

Um...not really. But it's not as bad as it sounds. My husband came up with it after my repeated bouts of bronchitis the doctor's couldn't fix.

The Udo's oil is flax oil. It's meant to coat the throat. The orange juice is added to cover the taste of the generous dose of powdered vitamin C, which helps combat the evil-doers in your system. Stir very well. It actually works.
