The Kanyon missile had been sent on its way. Any thoughts how it would be stopped, or would it achieve its aim?

I imagine Murph and Stoney, being the tech-wizards, will be the only ones who can come up with a plan. I can’t see any other way it can be stopped.
I can’t see the author allowing the thing to destroy Istanbul…

The Kanyon was stolen off the Penza, then taken on board a transport vessel. It is being transported to Istanbul where the summit of NATO members is being held.
