I've divided my collection in many different topics and it would be very helpful,
if I could just active or deactivate (with a litte checkbox in front of every topic
in the dropdown menu), which collenctions are displayed. So I could browse for
example through "sport", "psychology" and "health" without "fiction", "writing" and
"film"-books cluttering my list.
Or did I just miss a way of doing this?
Many thanks.

If you click on the collection, only what is in that collection is displayed.
If you wanted to use multiple topic search, tags would be the better option.

There is a "custom" button in the header at https://www.librarything.com/stats/MEMBERNAME/overview that allows you to select a combination of collections by tickboxes.

paradoxosalpha: Thats the function I imagined - just for the normal "your books" overview.

>5 qwertzy: Top left button, I believe it defaults to all collections. It's the main use of collections feature to be able to browse and search them separately
