Since our Admin is snowed under, I tallied the votes for the signature question and Griffin is tallying the logo portion which takes a little longer.

Good to know. The plan is that I will take the sheets to Parkinson in October for his signature. There's a chance the meeting won't be possible due to a family situation of his. If not, then it looks like the membership broadly supports some further deal for the sake of making it happen.

Does the delay relate only to the completion of this book, or would it also delay us starting on book 2?

I’m a bit surprised the majority of members opted for an entirely open ended timeline.

Won’t there be a point when we start to jeopardize our current binding plans?

Personally, I found this vote a little strange. What envisaged delays do different time frames relate to - we're literally talking about one guy signing fewer than 100 sheets, either in person or by post. And the baseline shipping date wasn't stated so it was hard to determine what the delays actually meant in practice. I mean, either it works out in October or it doesn't; on the off chance that it doesn't we can just hold another vote then on how to proceed.

I can't speak for others, but for me, I think this particular book will be significantly enhanced by Prof. Parkinson's signature, even if it takes a while to get it, as it contains the most recent revisions to the text for the first time anywhere. And the Professor did revise the intro as well, so the signature rather acts as a certificate of authenticity. For this, I am willing to wait and obviously, so are about 29 other people.

And as was pointed out by >5 Levin40: above, fine press books sometimes take years to come to fruition. Patience in this field is definitely a plus.
