I'm staying in Kisia, now at We cry for blood (book 3)

Heading into The Drowned Woods. I really loved the previous book from this author, so I'm eager to dive into this one.

Back in the various worlds during the Fall of Ile-Rien, in the second book of the series.

I'm in some sort of alternate England with The Frugal Wizard's Handbook for Surviving Medieval England.

In Amber and the shadow worlds, in The Chronicles of Amber.

Having re-read the first Amber series recently, I discovered that we didn't own the second sequence. Problem solved: three days ago I scooped up all of them on a visit to the Book Barn in Niantic, Connecticut (great place, for those of you in the Northeastern US who haunt used book stores). I'll probably read them after finishing my current fiction, the historical/gothic novel The Essex Serpent which is quite good so far.

Wandering around the various worlds in the midst of war in The gate of gods, the third book in the trilogy. I wouldn't mind reading stories about some of the ghosts in this universe. Like, the books have lots of characters, and even the ghosts have stories.

Investigating a murder in Point of Sighs. Already grieving a bit at this being the last book in the series. I have loved the series madly.

I'm wandering around Algid with Snow in Stealing Snow . Definitely a fantasy, definitely a YA novel.

Finally exploring the world outside the Scholomance in The Golden Enclaves.

Still in Westeros with Fire and Blood where King Aegon II has been reinstated after a bloody mess, but I suspect that’s not going to last for long.

Finished Point of Sighs and have such appreciation for the overall series that I've just ordered physical copies for my shelves (My "normal" reading is on Kindle these days, but if something is really amazing, I'll sometimes double-dip and pick up physical copies for my book shelves.) It's also spurred me to sign up for a Patreon for the first time ever. I've avoided it, because I already have too many monthly subscriptions in my life, but when I saw she has a patreon specifically for this world.... couldn't NOT join it.

Anyway, my next stop is in... Egypt, I think? The names feel Egyptian. But with a detective-noir-ish vibe, figuring out what is up with a Fallen Angel in The Sins of Angels.

I'm in an alternate version of England reading The Empty Grave by Jonathan Stroud.

Back amongst the shadows of Amber in the first of the second grouping, Trumps of Doom.

I continue my stay in Risia with Devin Madson's We dream of gods - it's the final book in this quartet and I love reading a series one book after the other.
This series is absolutely superb!

I'm back to Chicago for Skin Game.

Back in Shannara, reading a couple of the short stories The Black Irix and The Weapon Master's Choice.

Just started Cherie Dimaline's Funeral songs for dying girls, which starts in a cemetery. I expect ghosts soon.

Started audiobook listen for Flyaway by Kathleen Jennings. Beautiful fairytale-ish vibes so far, and compelling narration.

I'm in Liriat with Saint Death's daughter.

I'm checking out the Hundred Thousand Kingdoms.

I'm in Kingston, checking out Dr. Singer's Witchmark.
