Was Painter right to confide in Metcalfe? Was this a risk? Will it help them?

I saw that as a risk since he’s such a “political animal” but he seemed to respond in a way that would be in Sigma’s interest so the jury is still out on him

It could go either way depending on what Metcalfe's agenda is. I think he will respond positively it benefits him. Brenda's rights, the jury is still out where he's concerned.

It was a chance to confide in Metcalf but he did have their back when they’ve truly needed it.

He needs someone on his side to block and tackle the political forces against Sigma and the General seems to be a straight shooter.

It was a smart move. He needs someone with political savvy to help them keep things under control.

It was a risk, it could be of assistance to them but I think he had little choice. Things are happening very fast and he needed some kind of juice on his side.

It was a risk, but it seemed to have turned out alright. Metcalfe certainly made all the right noises in response. Time will tell us…

It was definitely a risk, but a measured one. I don’t think he would have shared it with him unless deep down he trusted him and may be able to help in some way.
