Baashi said, ‘Mothers go there. Never come back. A very bad place’. A woman had arrived in the camp where they held Amanda. What did you think was going on there?

Were they creating an army of people with the genetic code. At one point it talked about a number of egg fertilisation clinics being set up in the local area. Is this why they wanted the baby for future egg fertilisation. Most probably wide of the mark but always good to theorise. 🤣

Andrew’s theory seems plausible to me.

At that point in the book, I thought what they had planned for this particular woman was to swap the babies - give Amanda this woman’s baby and take Amanda’s baby for whatever purpose they have in mind.
If this has been going on for some time at the camp, as Baashi seems to think, then I don’t know what has previously gone on there.

They gave Amanda an Amniocentesis test and said they had good news. It's not unreasonable to think that the donor father had been used more than once. The unknown woman may have been kidnapped just like Amanda was.

>8 Olivermagnus: I like your thinking on this one, Lynda. It makes a lot of sense.

Using the mothers for their progeny as test subjects.

>8 Olivermagnus: I like your idea also. An army of immortals taking over humanity...sounds a lot like the idea that Hitler came up with.

>10 ColinMichaelFelix: That's the theory that I like. They want to be absolutely sure that they can suceed with amanda

All good theories. This has me stumped. Mostly due to the fact that Amanda screamed when the person behind the privacy screen was finally revealed. I considered that they were using the pregnant women for practice on conducting C sections…but I’d have thought an organization like we’ve seen would have a skilled Ob/gyn in their midst.
