This one might be a serious contender, 4.3 stars from me. Raw and honest, great language. It lost a bit in the last part when things should culminate. A quick read, but not an easy one. Should I get to write a review (very busy week ahead) I'll post it here as well.

This is a political very relevant novel about live in modern London. The Estate is a block of high buildings surrounding a square where the local youngsters meet and play football. All of them English yet with roots in another country or religion. They live an ordinary life but you can feel the tension in the community building up. Things spin out of control mad and furiously. A very believable plot, that could happen any day in any European city. Such a scary thought. One of my two favorites so far.
