I was wondering if anyone has given any thought to the next Outlander book, and if so, what would you like to see happen?

I myself thought it would be interesting if Gabaldon wrote the book from Jemmy's point of view, well into the future, telling what happened to his grandparents . . .

One thing for sure, I do hope that she has some way of making sure that Claire and Jamie end up together forever

What I would like to see is the next book in stores now! ;)

I like the idea of having two stories going in parrallel in two different time periods to start things off --then I suspect somehow, someone maybe Jem will have to travel back to his grandparents for some reason -- maybe something to do with what Brianna finds in that box from the end of ABoSaA.

I'd like to see who Lloghaire's secret lover is that Jenny told Jamie about in the letter, why am thinking it's another woman? LOL

#2 jhowell - I agree completely! She needs to ditch Lord John in favor of another man . . .

Oh and I think Jamie's son is going to have to play a pivotal role in the upcoming novel(s). Otherwise why did Gabladon bother to create him?

Agreed. I do think William is not going to happy in finding out that Jamie is his father and on the wrong side of the Revolution!

I hope I'm not spoiling the conversation ..... but if you visit http://www.dianagabaldon.com/ and scroll down to Jan. 7th's update, you can find out what the next book, and perhaps succeeding books will -- sort of --- be about! Also, there's a graphic novel in the works, and there is an example of the artwork.... Claire!!

I really do not care for the idea of the graphic novel of Outlander at all. I prefer my own imagination as to what Jamie and Claire look like, lol.

I still want to know about the kilted guy who turns up at the end of the first book. Is it Jamie coming to visit Claire in the present?

#11 - Yes, DG has confirmed it's definitely the ghost of Jamie, but we don't know how or why he's there. She said, the last page of the very last book in the series, we'd learn the truth of that moment.

#9, I've been reading some of the excerpts, they're very good and definitely William is a large part in An Echo in the Bone. Here's an excerpt I read yesterday - pretty good! Excerpt. I find that if you just google An Echo in the Bone, the excerpts come up.
