Brewed for four minutes at 212°, this tea tasted like Earl Grey without the bergamot - exactly what I was looking for! I wanted the maltiness but without the citrus tones and that's what this tea provided.
Assam Harmony is slightly sweet, when drunk unadulterated, but it is also quite astringent. With a dollop of milk and ¾ of a teaspoon of honey added, it's perfect.
A second steeping of six minutes turns out also quite nice - malty and rich - but the caffeine from cups three and four is a bit more than I want, though I do love the taste and really want to keep sipping all morning long!
