Hi, I'm new to the group.
I saw the last topic initiated on August 25th. Here's one for September.
I picked up another copy of Howard Hibbit's "Floating World in Japanese Fiction" by accident. Paperback and an older model. Anybody want it?
I note in the front-page of our group that there is a request for photos. Who's "Mimi"? :-) I have some nice ones (I think) from a trip to Okayama in November. But don't know who our fearless leader is. Who is our fearless "Mimi"?

Hello, chamekke here - founder of the group. I haven't stopped in for quite a while, so my apologies for the month-long delay in replying to your message.

That was just a silly pun - since mimi in Japanese means "ears", I was saying that I was "all ears" if anyone had other pics they'd like to contribute. Although, come to think of it, "all eyes" would be a more appropriate metaphor ;-)
Anyhow, if you'd like to suggest a photo for inclusion:
(1) Thanks!
(2) Wy don't you send me the URL via private message, and I'll upload it to the group page.
It might be a lot of fun to rotate the photo from time to time, too, if people are interested in suggesting other pics.

Sorry, I had my run on LibThing many months back and then sat playing with pencils for a month or two.
The Floating World book is long long gone. Sorry I didn't notify others.
I've seen it many times in used book stores, though, and assume it can be had for a song, used, through Amazon.
Good luck!
