Books we are reading

Post whatever books you are reading. Doesn't have to be TC or Memoirs. Since I just started this I am just making one thread.

Currently reading The Barefoot Lawyer which I got from LibraryThing Early reviewers.

Also reading Dead Reckoning which I got from the library.

I like reading true crime because what some people do to one another is so foreign to me, I want to try to find out how their minds work. The last two I've read are
Shots on the Bridge, not a traditional crime but crimes committed in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, and Ghettoside. Both were really interesting, and heartbreaking.

Finished Dead Reckoning and started Body Parts both by Caitlin Rother

I read it a while ago, but wanted to put in a mention of Safe Harbor, as my parents are friends with a couple of people on the island who were peripheral to (had a part in) the story.

Finished THE DARKEST NIGHT

Reading Seabiscuit

Saw a box in the break room with "FREE BOOKS" written on the flap so I searched it and found "LINES AND SHADOWS" by Joseph Wambaugh.

Currently reading Black Mass, in anticipation of watching the movie.

Next is THEN NO ONE CAN HAVE HERBY Caitlin Rother http://www.librarything.com/work/16502971/book/121898047 sent to me free for an honest review. Look for it Nov 2.
