A propos de ma bibliothèque

Goals for 2024:

  • 36 1001 books
  • 13 Read for a Lifetime books
  • 10 Rebecca Caudill books (I thought I had finished all the lists from my daughter’s and son’s middle school years, but I discovered this week that I hadn’t read as many as I thought.)
  • 7 Booker longlist books
  • 5 National Book Award fiction longlist books
  • 3 Pulitzer Prize finalist books

Total is 74.

The books listed in my library are those that

1) my family owns,
2) we previously owned,
3) I got from the library, or
4) someone loaned it to me, and after reading, I gave it back or passed it on to another.

If I've read the book, I include a "read" tag. If I know the year that I read it, it will be listed along with the "read" tag. How I wish that Library Thing was around long ago so that my catalog of books better reflected what I've read. Nonetheless, when I see a book that I remember reading, I will add it to my library, but I normally won't rate these books or provide other than basic tags for them. I definitely won't review them unless I've read them recently.
