only mysteries and the like are listed here. most of these i've read. some of the books in this catalog were inherited and I have yet to read all of those. others listed here just turned out to be boring, and are still waiting to be finished or re-started. Some of the best mysteries have slow starts, or soggy middles-- and sometimes I do try them again. other titles are included that I have read, but have since relinquished. .

When I read fiction, it is mainly mysteries. I've gotten a bit conservative, and tend to stay with the same authors.
