The Village Shelf is a cooperative library that serves the Middle Tennessee area and beyond. The goal of The Village Shelf is to empower our community with the knowledge required to live healthful, natural, productive and enriching lives. We provide access to books and educational resources to support this goal, including subjects like sustainable agriculture and homesteading, traditional and herbal medicine, community building and social activism, political ideologies, history and alternative historical perspectives, philosophy and spirituality, homeschool and parenting support, civil rights and social justice, and so much more.
