- I alternate between reading a variety of fiction and history, mostly United States history.

- In 2001 I retired from the U.S. Army where I served as a Special Operations officer. My wife Katherine and I now live on a ranch in North Carolina. I am active at church and am a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. I enjoy reading and playing the guitar and fiddle. Katherine and I also operate Thundering Paws Pet Adoption Center, a nonprofit corporation that we established. You can see more about that at www.thunderingpawsinc.org.
