I came to the US from India to study Artificial Intelligence. After spending 15 years developing soulless technology for self-driving vehicles, facial recognition, and video surveillance, I switched to the less lucrative but more benign career of science journalism. A couple of hundred news and feature stories later, I began to crave a wider scope for my imagination, and so turned toward fiction writing. Mock My Words is my first published novel. Two others are in the final stages of revision.
I am also a prolific writer of short stories, flash fiction, and humorous verse. This spring, I plan to bring out an illustrated collection of my shorter works titled Unintended Consequences, Illogical Extremes, and Other Ironies of Life.
