(1), This book focuses more on black children and saying hat they can do anything (1), but instead emphasizes that the toddler enjoys playing with and loves both of his parents. I would buy this book period (1), and that it is an age appropriate way to introduce young children to diverse family structures. The emphasis is not on the fact that the toddler has two dads (1), to dressing like a clown and playing with cars. Since this is a board book filled with descriptive illustrations my assumption is that this book is intended for toddlers and preschoolers. Personally I thought this book was adorable (1), This book focuses on the alphabet and making words. This book would be great because you are able to show this within a classroom of children who are just learning the alphabet or even learning to put letters together to form a word.
