A propos de ma bibliothèque
Used to be a verandah, now has wall-to-ceiling book shelves on three sides, good but not enough: constantly shifting piles of books from spot to spot on floor. Recently have decided to be tough, I'd Lifeline books have no intention of ever reading again such as dated Helen McInnes Cold War thrillers read decades ago. When I went through my shelves (two full days out of my life) found I had several copies of same book which made me happy - could meet quota of throw out books yet retain original. Dusted and Done: seven bags for Lifeline, half a shelf near ceiling of open space, virtuous me.
A propos de moi
Avid reader, managed family life around books, not always easy but persisted, daughter of avid reader mother who understands the need to disappear into book space, mother of children who don't understand (failed there somehow).
