Sarah Bartlett was an Academy Award-nominated film star, an Emmy-nominated television actress and a Yuma Tire Dealers Film Festival-nominated Best Actress Under 5’ 10” in a Movie Using a Callisto MT Font for Its Closing Credits. Appearing in over 20 films (including The Walrus’s Dentition, The Couture Contagion and The Lithuanian Connection), she also starred in the television shows Broccoli Fudge, Night of the Slippery Chicken Darkness and The Clarinet in Question. Additionally, she narrated several documentaries, including The Du Pont Sock Company Saga, Scooter and Flathead: The Forgotten Roosevelts and Green: A History of the Pickle. There were darker sides to Sarah, though, sides she didn’t want people to know about, sides that might have had graffiti written on them that said, “Blessed are the Peekmokers” (it might have been “Peekmokers,” it might have been “Peacemakers,” it might have been “Pencilmonkeys”—it was graffiti after all, and the spray painter did not have very good penmanship to begin with, and the can of paint was rather old and more than a little drippy. Here, for the first time, is the entire story of Sarah Bartlett’s life, from her first appearance in front of a donut store to her encounter with a group of trees. Her husband, her children, her dogs and her fashionable shoes are also included. And just in time for the holidays—those holidays being National Sock Day (December 4) and Bathtub Party Day (December 5).
