Based on the look and feel of last Dredd movie (if you did not already do yourself a favor and watch it) book gives us stories from the bloody and gritty future. We follow Dredd as he solves cases in Mega City One while hideous corporate interests try to wreak Hell on Earth in order to gain access to parts of the city they can use for their own development plans, no matter the human casualties piling up in the process. We also get additional story on origins of the slo-mo drug dealer Ma Ma.

Art is faithful to the movie and due to that has a more realistic look than usual Dredd books which I liked a lot.

Only downside is the size of the book, I wish it was longer.

Recommended to all fans of Judge Dredd and his universe.

Three short stories in Judge Dredd universe. Action is non-stop as expected :)

Considering short story concept don't expect character development or some convoluted plot because this cannot be packed in this format, authors assume you already know the main characters (Dredd, Anderson), way they operate and in general background of the Mega-City One law enforcement policies.

Do note that these stories are more in line with the Dredd movie then original comics. For me this was not an issue and I enjoyed the comic.

Recommended.

The Dredd reboot was AMAZING and that movie made me want to read the comics. However, I should have picked a different Dredd comic cause this was bad.

I don't know why Judge Dredd is on the cover when this comic follows Bill Weasley and him being a dad and wanting to be a good guy but SPOILERS HE ENDS UP BEING A BAD... JUST LIKE THIS COMIC.

Artwork was okay. Story was crap. Where is Anderson? How is this a sequel but it follows Bill Weasley?? How??
