It tells the story of the author's health problems, especially how he had two kidney transplants in only nine years. The author tells the story in a way that makes you feel like you're right there with him, facing the big challenges of being sick. The book also gives you advice on overcoming tough times, and it's all connected to faith, which means believing in something important. He talks about more than just the medical stuff, like dialysis, feeling sad, and being sick for a long time. The book discusses things everyone can relate to when life is hard. It's not just about getting through tough times; it's about winning and doing well against all the challenges.… (plus d'informations)

Gregory S. Works desires to not only help people facing chronic illnesses, transplant waiting list, and the transplant itself, but he hopes to shed light on what these people are dealing with deep down in Triumph: Life on the Other Side of Trials, Transplants, Transition and Transformation. Caregivers have to deal with the medical, physical, and emotional needs when it is too overwhelming for the patient. I believe it was therapeutic for Gregory S. Works to share his experiences as he strives to encourage and delighted those who read his book. His faith is woven throughout the book so viewers can see his strength came from Someone else when he felt he had no more. I really enjoyed reading this book and feel I could be a more understanding caregiver someday, or more informed patient myself if that day ever came.… (plus d'informations)

Reading Triumph by Gregory S Works was a very rewarding experience. The author, Gregory, is a two-time kidney transplant recipient, and he shares his journey with such candidness that it's impossible not to get wrapped up in the writing.
I felt that Gregory’s writing was warm and honest, and filled with both laughter and tears. Gregory’s humor shines through providing that much-needed lightness amidst such serious discussions surrounding chronic illness. It’s not just a story of survival but a narrative of hope.
Enjoyed a lot of the themes explored in the book, particularly how faith played a significant role in Gregory’s journey. His anecdotes, coupled with a sprinkle of statistics, made the narrative engaging and enlightening.
In wrapping up, Triumph is more than just a book; it’s an invitation to embrace life with all its ups and downs. I hope other readers like this heartfelt narrative that is as enlightening as it is entertaining.

I recently curled up with Triumph by Gregory S. Works, and let me tell you, it was a journey. The title might give you a hint, but it's so much more than just a tale of victory. I felt that the narrative was so rich, and the emotions i felt while reading? Don't even get me started. Getting to know Gregory was like meeting at a party and instantly wanting to be BFFs. I liked that the story had many layers to it, like a delicious literary lasagna. I enjoyed a lot of the themes, especially the ones that made me chuckle and think, "Oh, Gregory, you sly fox!" If you're in the mood for something that feels like a warm hug on a cold day, then this might just be your jam. I hope you like it as much as I did! Highly recommended!… (plus d'informations)
