J. D. Weeks

Weeks has assembled virtually every published reference to the activities of the Preston Motors Corporation and their line-up of Premocar cars and trucks, manufactured in the early 1920s in Birmingham, Alabama. Moreover, he's compiled that sometimes scanty information into a very readable tale with enough context of what else was going on in Birmingham and the auto industry to understand what it meant to be assembling and marketing a premium motorcar in the South in that day and time.
