Critiques

A brief but very insightful and illuminating summary of Rumkowski's leadership in the Lodz Ghetto and the morality, or lack thereof, of his actions. Of course it's ultimately inconclusive, which is kind of the point -- Rumkowski can't be pigeonholed into a "good" or "bad" category. I would recommend this for scholars focusing on the Lodz Ghetto, but lay readers could get something out of it as well, in conjunction with other books on the ghetto.
