Similar to The Stonecutter: A Japanese Folktale by Gerald McDermott and The Stonecutter Who Wanted to Be Rich by Getzl, except that Abraham wonders which entity is the most powerful and finally realizes that it must be G-d, who created all the aspects of nature, while the stonecutter wants that power for himself. Colorful illustrations. There are also stories in which an animal wants his daughter to marry the most important being in the world, which (fortunately) turns out to be the same species.
