A wonderful and beautifully illustrated children's book, with a story and lesson for all ages, and a charming and engaging little hero.
Flip and Mimi by Tara Star is a children's book about a mother and baby dolphin in which Mimi, the mother, is teaching Flip to swim more. Flip doesn't want to practice. Mimi decides to trick Flip and pretend she is injured, trapped or dead by the mean turtles. Flip looks everywhere for her and swims and swims. He is so upset and cries. She appears and says it is ok, I just wanted you to practice swimming. Really? What a mother! Not a bedtime story I want to tell my grand kids. The pictures are wonderful but the story, forget it! I give it a 1 star rating only for the pictures and 0 for the story!!!… (plus d'informations)

This illustrated colorful children's book is about Harry. He is a hippo and he thinks his reflection in the water is ugly.
He asks his parents about it....next day other animals come to drink from the water and when he tells them he likes a particular part of their body, they tell him they hate it.
