I really enjoyed this book for 2 reasons. Cat and mouse is a classic game and this story really exudes the playfulness of the relationship between the 2 main characters. The author was able to re-imagine this into a new tale which is intriguing and delightful. I also really loved the illustrations. The black and white with minimal color really allow the reader to focus on the cat and the mouse and their relationship. I think this is a really cute story and the illustrations set the apprehensive mood throughout the book.
