Public domain Pooh gets a Sherlock Holmes crossover when he pops into 221B Baker Street to report that his honey pots keep going missing. Despite his reputation, Holmes proves a most inept investigator, and it is up to Pooh to break the case wide open.

The pictures are nice, but the story is slow and stupid.

There are no credits for author or illustrator anywhere in the book, but Amazon has attributed it to "Serenity Shores," which actually seems to be the publisher rather than a person.

As far as the public domain aspects go, they seem to have jumped the gun by including Tigger, who doesn't enter public domain until 2024. Also, they have included Gopher, whom Disney created in 1966 and won't be in public domain for decades yet. Naughty, naughty! Hope a cease-and-desist isn't in your future, Serenity Shores.

(My Pooh Project: I love Winnie the Pooh, and so does my wife. Having a daughter gave us a chance to indoctrinate her into the cult by buying and reading her every Pooh book we came across. How many is that? I’m going to count them this year by reading and reviewing one every day and seeing which month I finally run out. Track my progress here:
