How to keep bees, one of the Teach Yourself Books, 4 b&w photos, some line drawings. Now rather dated. Includes the author's belief that the sex of the developing brood is determined by the quantity of vitamin E created in the royal jelly.
Chapter on 'Health in the Apiary' outdated by now - when the book was written, varroa had not yet been discovered in the UK. But has plenty of useful black & white photos and practical beekeeping tips.
