As Amish fiction goes it is pretty good, a bit predictable, but good. It's not weighed down overly with Amish phrases. I like that Naomi is a bit independent and that her father has allowed her to keep earnings that go beyond what they need for household expenses--he is even encouraging her to invest in another person's business dream to help someone else get started and improve her profits. This is something that Naomi isn't sure she wants to give up if she gets married and starts a family of her own.

The death of her sister's husband puts Naomi in proximity to his family and she hits it off with one of the brothers. Will she find that he approves of her plan to keep working?… (plus d'informations)
