Unfortunately my children have now all outgrown this book and it no longer holds their interest. But it is still a cute book to reinforce color and number recognition.

Ten Wiggly Worms: A Number And Color Recognition Book by Otto Scamfer
Colorful very dark with black words on dark background.
Like the fact that the numbers are listed under the snakes so kids can get used to seeing them.
Love color of the worms. Not so sure introducing a robin looking for worms is the right way to go, kind of frightening for a child.

Logan And The Magic Fish
Colorful children's book about Logan and he lives in Pacific NW and is heading out to take the canoe on his fishing trip.
He does catch a magic fish and gives him 3 wishes and then releases him... he heads home. Some things do happen...
He misunderstands the fish and heads back to have a talk with him as he explains what he said and what happened....

Ten Wiggly Worms accomplished both numbers and color recognition. The varied facial expressions of the worms were also enjoyable. But I thought the colors of the illustrations were lack luster (even in the Kindle version). I did not like the use of the word "onto the world". I thought a better word use might be "up from the earth or ground".
